11th Century Jain Temples Inspired Bangle

An interesting piece of jewellery – a bangle featuring some of the oldest Jain temples (Palithana temples). To date the architecture and craftsmanship of the temples remains some of the most untouched and beautiful in the world. The temples were built on over 3500 steps and are of the main places of worship for Jains. Jainism’s main teachings are around kindness, ‘ahimsa’, humility and humanity. Kasturjewels is ingrained with this philosophy and ideals. Born into a Jain family and ancestry we take heavy inspiration from the beauty and design  around these temples. Would look really great and add that extra wow factor to any outfit : a casual pair of jeans and a shirt, a sari, a formal dress…Most definitely a conversation piece! Diameter: 6cm  /60mm / 2.3inches

Description

A very interesting piece of jewellery – a bangle featuring the flamboyant interiors of the Bashir Bagh Palace in Hyderabad in the 1880’s – the palace actually no longer exists but is still known for all its heritage during the time of the Nizams.
