”I grew up in a very poor country and have worked with the most vulnerable people so setting up a business that could give back was a necessity for me. A woman who can afford to buy a beautiful, heritage – inspired jewel is also helping improve a much less priviledged person’s life and that’s a good exchange” (Rajvi Vora, Founder-Kasturjewels as quoted in the Country and Town House Magazine, A/W 2018)

Inspired by the old paintings and murals found on old palace and temple walls in India, this earring has been set with turquoise stones that have been intricately carved. They are in their raw form and set to give a heritage finish, hence the stones look a little rough and not perfectly smooth. That is the beauty and uniqueness of the piece and the stones used. There are also antique finished crystals used in this piece.
22kt gold plated on 925 silver, 5cm in full length; light weight for pierced ears.
