Hand enamel techniques date back to 224 AD when master Iranian craftsmen introduced enamel to the world. The Mughals then brough the technique to India in the 13th Century.
The colours are inspired by the vibrant colours that many old palace walls in Northern India from the Mughal era are hand painted with.
