Vora explains how she uses traditional kundan setting with uncut polki diamonds, relying on highly refined gold and pressure-setting techniques still practised in Rajasthan, especially Jaipur. She also frequently incorporates meenakari, the colourful enamel work with roots from the Sassanid era in Persia, preserving an old-world feel.

Beyond design, Kastur Jewels stands out for its ethical philosophy: pieces are handmade in small artisanal workshops in India and Kenya, produced in very limited batches, and created only with natural stones and metals.
