The bow motif is said to have first appeared in Jewellery in the 17th Century French royal court of Louis XIV. The overlap of styles, designs and ideas has overlapped for so many centuries through various ancient civilisations and eras. Persian, Mughal, French, Georgian, Victorian Edwardian….

Set on silver with enamel detail; 19.28 carat or purple amethyst; 0.15 carat of single cut diamonds.

2.7 cm in full length; very light weight for pierced ears.
