18th Century Inspired Protective Hand Quartz & Diamond Necklace

A necklace inspired by the hand motif which was a classic expression of the Roman revival in Europe, popular from the 1820’s to the 1850’s , carrying symbolic overtones of love and friendship. The use of the hand motifs has been evident in the use of Jewellery since the medieval times & can also be found in the use of old Indian jewellery circa 1853.

Longest drop length 26.5 cm . Can be worn as short as 22.2 cm and anywhere in between. Looks great as a single piece or layered.

18kt gold plated on silver; set with 33 carat of high carved lemon quartz & 0.20 carat of single cut diamonds.
