Heirloom 15th Century Old Mine Cut Ring Band

This ring has been handcrafted using a 500 year old technique called ‘partash’ which involves intricate hang engraving work onto the solid 18kt gold. Originating from the Mughal era, there are only a handful of artisans who are able to perfect this technique now. In addition we have used 0.75 carat of old mine cut diamond. Old mine cut diamonds were popular and originated in the early 1700s to the 1800s. Considered the ‘predecessor’ to the modern round brilliant cut diamonds.

A great alternative & very unique engagement ring too.

17.5 mm diameter; UK size R, US 8.5. (mm is the most accurate as every ring chart is a bit different) It can be made in any size.

Comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Supporting very small artisanal workshops is at the core of our work; all stones are consciously sourced and pieces are all hand made.
