Heirloom 15th Century Old Mine Cut Ring Band

Please note as these are all hand made pieces, and each stone is individually cut, sourced & set, there could be slight variations , however the overall look , design & feel will remain the same. This ring has been handcrafted using a 500 year old technique called ‘partash’ which involves intricate hang engraving work onto the solid 18kt gold. Originating from the Mughal era, there are only a handful of artisans who are able to perfect this technique now. In addition we have used 0.75 carat of old mine cut diamond. Old mine cut diamonds were popular and originated in the early 1700s to the 1800s. Considered the ‘predecessor’ to the modern round brilliant cut diamonds.

17.5 mm diameter; UK size R, US 8.5. (mm is the most accurate as every ring chart is a bit different) It can be made in any size.
