Enamel Palace Floral Leaf Detail Earrings

Inspired by my love for old palaces, temples & places of worship, old Mughal structures and tombs.

The earrings explore the ancient technique of Enamel. The art work is influence by actual murals & paintings in old palace walls.

Hand enamel techniques date back to 224AD when master Iranian craftsmen introduced enamel to the world. The Mughals then brought the technique to India in the 13th Century.

3 cm in full length. Very light weight for pierced ears.

Gold plated on silver with hand done enamel.
